IMPORTANT!! Please rely heavily on my description of these blue Moissanites’ color, as they appear much more vividly blue in photographs and video than they do to the naked eye! They are nonetheless identifiably blue, like the color of a fine Santa Maria aquamarine. But these rare Moissanites have a “frosty” effect, which is why I call their color “frosted aquamarine”! They are SPECTACULAR! In direct light they’ll appear more vividly blue (like in sunlight or under the lights of a grocery store), and in ambient light a lighter, more frosty blue! They’re absolutely stunning stones!

And now I offer my latest design, my Moissanite earrings I christened “Pendulums”! In the top baskets are 1ct white round brilliant Moissanites, and in the bottom are octagonal-cut, “frosted” aquamarine Moissanites with 8-arm star faceting, which are hand-cut! You’ll notice in the earrings’ photoshoot that the top Moissanites sit sideways. I intentionally designed them this way to account for the angle of the head when facing forward respective of the ears, so that when in your ears the blue stones face forward rather than sideways! (People looking at the side of your head will see the beautiful white Moissanite in your earlobe, and people facing you will see those phenomenal frosty blue octagonal Moissanites head-on!) These earrings have full Argentium construction and 1mm posts, and are approximately 1.75” in length. ***The backs are sterling silver disk backs, with 6mm disks that snug the earrings against your earlobes, and serve to center and stabilize the stud stones on your earlobes! When worn, the “pendulums” swing freely with every movement of your head, catching the light and reflecting hundreds of colorful sparkles! The only thing sparklier than a Moissanite is a Moissanite in motion! These earrings are not only elegant, gorgeous and colorful, but their movement makes them fun! 

BOTH of the blue Moissanites are certified, so you’ll get *two* GRA-certificates and Moissanite Reports! (I certify that the 1ct round brilliants are D-color with VVS1 clarity, but they’re not certified. The industry standard is to certify a piece by the largest Moissanite, which with these earrings are the 3ct  octagons.) Octagonal-shaped stones are nothing new, with perhaps the most recognizable being an Asscher-cut gemstone. It’s the masterful *faceting* of these stones that makes them truly special and unique! Each features a perfect 8-arm star, achieved with diamond-shaped facets, that appears to project outward from within the stones, and each side of the star’s arms and its facets catch the light! The underside of each stone (the pavilion) features dozens of triangular and trapezoidal facets which radiate not only from within the star’s arms but reflect through the stone’s octagonal table (the flat surface facet)! So these deliciously blue stones are super fiery and flashy - just as Moissanites should be!

The mountings, including the posts, are crafted from genuine, germanium-container 935 silver with 18k Seiko-electroplated white rhodium. Argentium silver has the approximate strength and durability of 14k white gold (2-3 times stronger than sterling silver!) and looks and feels like 14k! It is very resistant to surface marring, is highly tarnish-resistant and is hypoallergenic! The backs are a purchased component so are sterling silver, and are oversized European “butterfly” backs with 6mm silver disks that snug right up against your earlobe, centering and stabilizing the earrings and thereby preventing earlobe sag!
