Ethiopian opal earrings, pair B. A beautiful pair of rectangular Ethiopian opal earrings, approximately 4cttw and hand-set in sterling silver bezels!
NOTE: These opals are hand-carved/shaped and hand-set in India. No two opals shaped and set in this way will match perfectly in size, shape, pattern of fire or play of color - which is *exactly* what makes them unique and special! They are also set in *raw* sterling silver, which means the silver is not plated with another metal. While this increases the speed at which the silver will tarnish, it’s another unique attribute of these beautiful earrings! A patina of tarnish will give them an aged, vintage look that I personally feel gives them a beautiful, ethnic flair! But if you don’t like such a patina, you can simply rub the bezels with a polishing cloth and they’ll shine up like new! And when not wearing them, keep them in an airtight baggie to prevent exposure to oxygen - it’s the chemical reaction between oxygen and silver that produces what we see and call “tarnish” or more specifically, “oxidation”.
I offer here a gorgeous pair of 100% natural AAA-quality white Ethiopian opal studs. This pair features approximately 6mm x 8mm rectangular opals that are approximately 4cttw. Both of these opals display a high degree of neon green, electric blue and salmon pink in almost fully transparent bodies, with their shimmering, watery rainbow of colors resulting from loosely arranged silica molecules reflecting the light. They’re SO much more beautiful than my photos and video suggest! They’re GORGEOUS!
These opals are hand set by an Indian silversmith in raw sterling silver bezels, and the earrings come with butterfly backs.

My Personal Guarantee
I hand-select every Moissanite, Ethiopian opal and genuine gemstone I offer. I test every Moissanite I buy - even from gemstone dealers I trust and EVEN when the Moissanites come with certificates of authenticity! - so you can be certain your own test will tell you it’s a diamond (when tested with an electrical testing pen. More sophisticated testing, like light spectrometer testing, can distinguish between diamond and Moissanite). I pledge to never get lazy or sloppy with quality assurance because I understand that it’s your investment on the line. I know that you can spend your money elsewhere, so also at stake is my integrity as a shop owner to honor your trust in me for all your Moissanite, Ethiopian opal and genuine gemstone purchases! So please don’t be wary of my low prices - I negotiate good deals on loose gemstones and metals, and I double-check everything so that I can honor my pledge to bring you the best genuine gemstone jewelry at the lowest prices! And if you are ever unhappy with a purchase for any reason - or even if you just changed your mind! - I offer you a worry-free 14-day money back guarantee! So feel free to indulge in the unrivaled beauty of Moissanite, Ethiopian opal and other gemstones, and then feel good wearing genuine gemstone jewelry that you bought wisely at a price point lower than even others’ sale prices!
