Labradorite and moonstone bracelet and/or earrings. The “Essences of Gemstones” bracelet with hand- faceted “essence” stones! This bracelet literally glows!

NOTICE: These are GENUINE gemstones! In addition to using genuine gemstones, I also use durable components that will outlast every elastic bracelet on the market. Elastic bracelets will wear out quickly and break, whereas my bracelets will give you years of wear!

I present here a beautiful bracelet made with AAA-grade alternating labradorite and moonstone beads in various shapes and faceting, and with your choice of golden or silvery stainless steel jewelry hardware. I call it the “Essence of Gemstones” bracelet, due to their glowing characteristics being named after the stones themselves - “labradorescence”” for labradorite’s multicolored glow and “adularescence” for moonstone’s blue glow (after its mineral name, adularia). The labradorites circle the bracelet in faceted squares and faceted roundelles with a larger centered labradorite that is faceted in a twisting pattern. The moonstones circle the bracelet in faceted cubes and smooth heishi beads (“heishi” being flat but rounded tire-shaped beads). With the exception of the heishi beads, these gemstones are faceted in what is called “Indian cut” faceting - that is, facets made by Indian (from India) hands rather than being machine made! Indians take great pride in this style of faceting and spend several years under a master lapidarist (stone cutter or carver) learning the skills involved. This vocation often spans generations as the art form is passed down from grandparent to parent to child!

This bracelet is strung on strong stainless steel jewelry wire. A single strand has a tensile strength of 25 pounds, meaning it will take 25 pounds of force or pull to break this wire! Both ends of the bracelet have a triple knot and wire crimp inside the “clam shell” connectors, so this lovely bracelet will stand up to years of wear! NOTE: There is a bit of length left to allow the stones to move freely, so you may notice the wire on either end of your bracelet. This is intentional and is not a flaw.

NOTE: The 9” anklet or men’s bracelet is finished with an S-hook closure. I can swap it out for a lobster claw clasp if preferred.
