Moissanite necklace. “Flight!”, a kite-shaped, custom-cut 5ct Moissanite pendant! Hand-faceted by a master stone cutter and set in Argentium silver, it is suspended on a 20” sterling silver chain and is exclusive to Hand Knotted Jewelry!

I offer here “Flight!”, a beautiful pendant set with a Moissanite parcel I commissioned after I saw a diamond cut similarly and was in awe! One of the things I enjoy most is introducing different gemstone cuts and faceting styles to you, and another is offering you pieces you’re unlikely to find elsewhere! Additionally, I’m BEYOND excited to bring you pieces in Argentium silver, which instead of 6.5% soft copper contains 6.5% germanium, a hardy and lustrous metal (element #32 on the periodic table)! Thanks to its germanium content, Argentium silver is 2-3 times more durable than sterling silver, has the approximate strength of 14k gold and looks and wears like it! It is *more* resistant to surface marring and oxidizing (tarnishing) than both sterling and 14k and is hypoallergenic, making it a superior and affordable metal choice for fine Moissanite jewelry! This pendant, then, reaches new heights with its custom-cut, hand-faceted kite-shaped Moissanite set in genuine Argentium silver in a hybrid mounting designed by yours truly, and I therefore christened it “Flight!” 

This kite-shaped Moissanite is 5CT’s x and before setting measures 9mm x 17mm, making the pendant approximately 10mm x 20mm including the mounting and bail. I designed its hybrid basket-bezel mounting so that light can enter the stone from all angles, ensuring that every facet gets to sparkle and flash! Every surface of the mounting is highly polished and catches the light, shining in its own right but also reflecting and amplifying the Moissanite’s fire! A chic saddleback bail completes the pendant and punctuates that *this* is an exclusive designer piece crafted by skilled hands rather than mass-produced by a machine! I’ve included a medium-weight cable link chain made from sterling (the only machine-made element of this necklace!) that is 18” long with a 2” extender and attractive lobster claw clasp. The pendant and chain are both 18k white rhodium plated, and together weigh an indulgent 9g! You’ll *feel* this necklace when you wear it!

This is not an inexpensive piece, but it’s pricier than my other 5ct offerings for its “extras” - its custom-shaped, hand-faceted Moissanite, its mounting crafted from Argentium silver, its masterful craftsmanship and its sophisticated design places it FAR above ordinary Moissanite pendants!
